We are a Christian-based charity organization founded in 2009 by three friends; Sam, Olivia and Corrie, registered in Uganda under NGO number MIA/NB/2010/04/2497, in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

Who We Are

We are an award winning children’s charity, working with underprivileged children and families in the slum areas of Kampala the capital city of Uganda, to improve their livelihoods.

What we do

We Started as a kids club and transformed into an overall child rescue initiatives serving communities through educating, safeguarding, rehabilitating, feeding, skilling.

About Uganda

Called the Pearl of Africa by Winston Churchill in 1907; Uganda is a landlocked country in East Africa whose diverse landscape encompasses the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains and immense Lake Victoria. Its abundant wildlife includes chimpanzees as well as rare birds. Remote Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a renowned mountain gorilla sanctuary. Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest is known for its 43m-tall waterfall and wildlife such as hippos.

The Need

It is estimated that the population of Ugandans living in slums was 54% as of 2021 by the World bank. Life isn’t easy here; there are very high rates of unemployment, predominantly among young people and women. Household incomes are unstable, and many families survive on just one meal a day. 80% of Kampala’s slum dwellers don’t have access to a toilet. Eight million children in Uganda are vulnerable to harm and are at risk of abuse and abandonment as a result of poverty.
